This through girder bridge crosses Beaver Creek in the town of Parkersburg.
Built in 1911, the bridge features a trio of through girder spans, approached by concrete slab spans that were added in 1920. The entire bridge rests on concrete substructures.
Girder bridges are common along this route to cross small to medium sized waterways. Overall, this bridge appears to be in fair condition, with mainly cosmetic issues noted.
The author has ranked this bridge as locally significant, due to the common design.
